The International Champions Cup is coming to town.
Dublin’s Aviva Stadium has been confirmed as one of the venues for this summer’s International Champions Cup tournament, and Irish fans look set tot be in for a treat.
Current European champions Barcelona are on their way to the capital to take on Celtic on July 30th, the Scottish club have announced.
Celtic will also take on Inter Milan and Leicester City on home turf, and chief executive Peter Lawwell said: “It is magnificent news that our supporters in Scotland and Ireland will be able to enjoy such exciting matches and we are sure our participation will be warmly welcomed by our fans who will look forward to Celtic meeting such a high calibre of opposition in Barcelona, Inter Milan and Leicester City.”
That excitement will be matched by supporters hoping to see Barca’s MSN front line of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez in action in Dublin.

The ICC features ten of Europe’s biggest clubs, with Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea also taking part.
Games will take place in Europe and the US, with Liverpool confirming fixtures against Chelsea and AC Milan in Los Angeles and San Jose respectively, while the Reds will also take on Barcelona in a yet to be confirmed European city.

Tottenham, Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Melbourne Victory will take part in the Australian leg of the competition, while Manchester United and Manchester City are reportedly in the line-up for a Chinese tournament to be confirmed tomorrow.
Ticket details for the European games, including Celtic-Barcelona, are due to be announced on April 18.
