Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton has said that the Celtic reserves are bigger than Leicester City.
Brendan Rodgers’ move from Celtic to Leicester City earlier this week was controversial due to the club’s run for a triple treble and Sutton, who last weekend said that Leicester were a very, very attractive job in terms of the club having some fantastic young players, has now said that Leicester are a downgrade from Celtic and former Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott wasn’t having any of it.

Meanwhile Rodgers has said that he understands the hurt that Celtic fans are going through after he left the club earlier this week for the Premier League.
“I have seen some of what has been said,” he said. “Listen Celtic supporters will hurt. I understand how they feel – they are hurting and a bit worried about what will happen.
“Listen, words, you always have to be careful with words. I have seen the banner. The Celtic supporters are hurting. It is a worldwide fan base. They gave me everything.

“It was a shock, they are probably angry, but in time a reality will set in and hopefully the work we did will how we are judged.
“This (Leicester) is a fantastic club with a real rich history of its own. Its recent history has been incredible as everyone has seen.”
