Brendan Rodgers has added another player to his squad.
The Celtic manager had been linked with a move for Andre Wisdom, the Liverpool defender he gave his debut to in 2012.

However, Wisdom – who spent the last three seasons out on-loan away from Anfield – at Derby County, West Brom and Norwich City respectively – is set to join Red Bull Salzburg. The 23-year-old will join the Austrian side on a season-long loan after it was clear he wasn’t part of Jurgen Klopp’s plans.
Rodgers has moved instead to sign Cristian Gamboa from West Brom. The 26-year old right back, who has joined for an undisclosed fee, has signed a three-year deal at Celtic Park.

Gamboa has only made 17 appearances for West Brom since joining the club from Norwegian side Rosenborg in 2014. The right-back was part of the Costa Rica team that reached the quarter-finals of the World Cup two years ago.
