Behold! The most desperate and ridiculous transfer rumour of the year

We all enjoy a good transfer rumour, even the daft ones, but this is getting ridiculous.

The suggestion is that Real are keen to supplement their attacking options of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez with the former Stocksbridge Park Steels man. The Metro report:

"[Real Madrid] believe he would be an excellent second striker to challenge Benzema for a starting spot. And as he’s not played in Europe, they could register him for the Champions League in January."
