Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba will reportedly play no part in today’s derby with Liverpool.
The French international is understood to have suffered a gash in his leg in the final training session at Carrington and has apparently been ruled out ahead of Saturday’s lunchtime kick-off.
Sounds like Pogba has been ruled out. Assessed this morning but United medical staff decided he is not fit enough to play.

Pogba played over 90 minutes in United’s 3-2 win over Crystal Palace on Monday but was caught out badly defensively in the build up to Andros Townsend’s deflected goal.
Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville said that Pogba plays like “he’s on the park with his mates” and he can understand why Mourinho has dropped him for recent games.
“It’s been nowhere near good enough,” Neville said on Sky Sports.
“Pogba’s great strength is that he plays with freedom like he’s playing on the park with his mates, but his great weakness is that he’s playing on the park with his mates.
“It’s like everything he does is all for a YouTube or Instagram video. It’s like it’s not serious – like it’s a joke to him. There’s no wonder Jose Mourinho has left him out in recent weeks.”
