Arsenal fans? Wanting someone to blame after a defeat? Never!

We know it sounds hard to believe but there’s some Gooners out there who are taking defeat to Southampton very badly indeed. In fact they want yet another Premier League official banned from taking charge of their games.

You may recall earlier in the season when a group of Arsenal supporters tried to get Mike Dean blocked from officiating their matches following a bad-tempered loss to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Now they’re at it again following their 4-0 mauling at the hands of the Saints. This time they’re not happy with Jonathan Moss for his part in their embarrassing loss.

Again, they have set up an online petition to get Moss banned from refereeing any further Gunners’ fixtures, because, in their words:

“The problem is that Jonathan moss ( referee ) made many mistakes that cost Arsenal goals during the game against Southampton, there are no punishments given to referees for mistakes like these that cause long term problems and unfair advantages. We are calling for a punishment or ban from Arsenal games for Jonathan moss.”
