Well, this is awkward.
British journalist, and Arsenal fan, Piers Morgan sent an ill-advised during the first-half of today’s north London derby.
Arsenal were leading 1-0 at the time, and Morgan obviously felt the time was right to stick it to Spurs striker Harry Kane, saying the player isn’t even good enough for the Gunner’s bench.
Guess what happened next?
Harry Kane wouldn’t get on our bench. #afc

Kane scored two second-half goals, Spurs won 2-1 and Morgan died a little inside.

The good news is that it’s still only 7am in LA, so this will literally ruin my entire weekend. #afc — Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) February 7, 2015
Naturally, some on Twitter only to happy to rub salt into Morgan’s wounds.
.@Lord_Sugar @piersmorgan he’s right! He’d be in the starting XI.

Next time, maybe think before you tweet and jinx it for your team Piers.
