Two sides reportedly pose an interest in the Brazilian.

Manchester United winger Antony has reportedly been told he can leave the club as early as January, following the sacking of manager Erik ten Hag.

The decision could see United’s second most expensive signing in history depart after a challenging stint, with Ajax and Flamengo among the clubs reportedly interested, according to talkSPORT.

Antony’s time at United has been underwhelming, having scored only one goal in the Premier League last season.

Since his £86 million move from Ajax in 2022, the Brazilian international has managed just five league goals, failing to meet the expectations tied to his high transfer fee.

Sources suggest that Ten Hag’s unwavering support of Antony became a point of friction within the United dressing room, with some players reportedly frustrated by the manager’s consistent selection of the winger despite his inconsistent performances.

Ten Hag’s exit from Old Trafford now leaves Antony facing an uncertain future at the club.

Ajax, his former team, are rumoured to be interested in re-signing the winger, while Brazilian side Flamengo could also make a move.

United are expected to be open to offers for Antony, as the club looks to rebuild under new leadership and resolve internal issues that arose during Ten Hag’s tenure.
