What a painting, what a tribute, what a man.
As Euro 2016 inches ever closer, there’s something just not right about Bill O’Herlihy being missing from the nation’s living rooms.
The legendary broadcaster who sadly passed away last May became synonymous with the Republic of Ireland and all the good and bad memories the football team brought us. All the best memories.
He won’t be far from the minds of Irish men and women though when the first ball is kicked in France this summer and he certainly won’t be far from the memories of punters in The Back Page pub in Dublin.

The Phibsboro establishment put together a stunning mosaic of Bill O’Herlihy to watch over the fans and the action in the beer garden during the tournament.
And the final result was just brilliant.

Not that we needed much to keep Bill in our consciousness, but this is a fantastic doff of the cap to one of Ireland’s greatest.
So, go on lads, give it a lash.
