Alan Shearer responds to a Sunderland troll with a terrifying ‘threat’

Alan Shearer, Weetabix, Ebola, and a Sunderland fan were the ingredients for a bizarre exchange on social media. Newcastle United legend Shearer threatened to send an envelope of Ebola to a Sunderland fan who abused him on Twitter. Yes, you read that correctly. The Premier League's record goalscorer was conducting a competition with a bookmaker, giving away a signed England shirt. However, a Sunderland fan on Twitter said he'd "rather get an envelope full of Ebola in the post than a shirt signed by him", before comparing Shearer unfavourably to a breakfast cereal.
