A comfortable night’s work for the Irish fighter.

Jason Quigley made light work of Freddy Lopez in California on Friday night.

The Donegal middleweight stopped the 11th hour replacement, who, according to the commentators, works as painter, just two minutes into the first round of their bout.

The 24 year old landed a series of bodyshots on the Mexican, sending the stand-in fighter to the canvas twice.

Quigley’s record now reads 10 wins in 10 bouts, with nine via stoppage. Following the fight, the Donegal native hinted at a step-up in weight class for his next bout.
