And the new…
Anthony Joshua is the new IBF world heavyweight champion. The British boxer beat Charles Martin in the second round of their bout at the 02 Arena in London on Saturday night.
Joshua won a tentative first round against the American southpaw, before unloading with a massive right hand early in the second. Martin was left reeling and just about beat the referee’s 10 count.
However, he was soon back on the canvas. Joshua finished off the 29 year old with a ruthless shot to preserve his unbeaten record, which now stands at 16 professional fights, and secure the IBF title to boot.
