The world will be watching when Con Sheehan sets foot in the ring next month.
The Tipperary heavyweight has managed to snag himself a spot on the undercard of one of the most eagerly anticipated events of the year.
Irish-Boxing.com confirmed on Wednesday that Sheehan is set to feature on the Tyson Fury vs. Wladimir Klitschko II undercard on October 29 at the Manchester Arena.
The rematch between undefeated Fury and former champion Klitschko received its rescheduled date this week after a sprained ankle ruled Fury out of action in July.
And Clonmel’s Sheehan, who has been training under Peter Fury alongside Tyson, has received a place on the card.
Sheehan will fight twice before then, with two bouts scheduled in the space of a week at the end of this month.

The 27-year-old won his professional debut in January when he claimed a unanimous decision in California.
A fight in his native Ireland is expected before the year is out but the place on the Fury vs. Klitschko undercard will earn him more exposure than those three fights combined.
Given the fact that the Premier County brought home the Liam MacCarthy on Sunday, it’s not been a bad few days for Tipperary sportsmen.
