Conlan’s bout will be his first in the professional game and the first time he’s been in the ring since his controversial loss to Vladimir Nikitin at the Rio Olympics last August.
The 2015 bantamweight amateur world champion signed with Top Rank promotions, which is run by legendary promoter Bob Arum, in October. He has since moved to the United States and is currently training for his professional bow in New York.
We can’t wait for the fight, and the post-fight interview with Conlan and Barnes.
