MayPac II WILL happen according to Manny Pacquiao’s trainer Freddie Roach

Rematch, you say?

Let’s get this rigmarole started again.

It only took about 40 years for Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao to agree to fight one another but already talk has moved to a rematch.

Mayweather beat Pacquiao rather decisively in May before retiring after doing the same to Andre Berto in September.

But Pacquiao’s camp maintain that the Filipino fighter’s chances of beating Mayweather were hampered by a shoulder injury that Pacman had to fight through.

And Pacquiao’s trainer Freddie Roach believes that the potential financial rewards will be too tempting for either fighter to turn down a rematch and reckons that we’ll see the pair of welterweights go at it once more.

Roach said: “If Manny fights a good fighter, looks good, has no shoulder injury, I think Floyd Mayweather and him will go one more time.

“Too much money. They’re not going to let that go, I feel.”

Rumours are that Mayweather made over €200million from that May fight so, yeah, we wouldn’t blame him for taking another fight against Pacquiao.

Let’s just hope it doesn’t take another eternity to come to fruition.
