We’ve finally got a date for the most anticipated rematch in years.
Tyson Fury’s rematch with former long-time heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko is a bout that fight fans are itching to see.
Was it a fluke performance from Fury? An off night for the Ukrainian? Or will it play out in exactly the same way?
We don’t have long to wait to find out as the Mirror are reporting that June 4 is the date that has been pencilled in for the showdown of the summer.
Fury took a unanimous decision victory over Klitschko in Dusseldorf last November with a shock upset and the world has been dying to get another look at the pair go head-to-head.
It seems like every stadium in the world has been discussed in relation to the venue that will host the grudge match but it’s believed that Austria’s Woerthersee Stadium is the frontrunner.
“Yes, that’s right. We are in negotiations, but for confidential reasons, we can’t give out any more information at this stage,” Nicola Pattberg of the Klitschko Management Group told Austrian newspaper Kleine Zeitung.
