The Belfast man is not happy.
The boxer has endured one of those weekends that make you wonder why you got out of bed.
The ‘Jackal’ was stripped of his WBA super bantamweight title on Friday, as he failed to agree to fight mandatory challenger Guillermo Rigondeaux after his impressive win over Scott Quigg.
The whole sorry saga had been predicted by the Cuban pugilist and he will now move up to face interim WBA champion Moises Flores for the WBA title.
Fact. #Frampton is scared like Quigg and Santa Cruz before him. I don't blame him but you all should. pic.twitter.com/shDYKqZnEg

Frampton is not normally short of a quip on social media, and after the news broke, finally took Twitter this afternoon to share his cheeky response to the news.
I will be ducking Rigo at the @CrusadersFC game today 😪

The loss of the WBA belt should not do too much damage to his long-term boxing ambitions however, as he could target a fight with IBF featherweight champion Lee Selby, or WBA featherweight champion Leo Santa Cruz next.
Clearly it’s the last thing on Frampton’s mind this afternoon as he and his daughter paid a visit to a play centre, and left his hand prints on the wall at Scallywags in Banbridge Co. Down.
We couldn’t let Carl Frampton leave without doing his hand prints on scallywags wall! Thank you to Carl and Christine Frampton for visiting us while they lived in Banbridge and we wish you all the best in your new home! Don’t forget to call back and see us anytime you are in town!
