We know one man who doesn’t have Chris Froome on his Christmas card list anyway.
The atrocities continue for Team Sky.
It was only at the weekend just past that both Richie Porte and Chris Froome claimed that they had been punched and had piss thrown at them.
They probably just wanted answers. They were probably just hurting.
Now though, at stage 19 and with the end in sight, Froome is still finding detractors on the French slopes.
The South African native has come in for heavy criticism and increased scrutiny over allegations that he has been taking performance enhancing drugs and the controversies clearly having died down with one member of the anti-Froome club jumping out in front of the Tour de France leader at a corner of the penultimate Alpine stage.
He didn’t look to be supporting him anyway. And he certainly didn’t look to be respecting the yellow jersey, as tournament organisers asked for at the start of the day.
