Pakistan batsman suffers skull fracture in test against New Zealand
SportsJOE is wincing at the thought of being struck by a very heavy fast moving piece of cork wrapped in leather.
That’s why we really feel for Ahmed Shehzad who suffered an horrendous looking injury in a test cricket match between Pakistan and New Zealand.
He was hit on the helmet by a bouncer from Corey Anderson on day two of the test series in Abu Dhabi and was later diagnosed with a minor skull fracture
To add insult in injury he was on a career best run of 176 but was dismissed hit wicket after he dropped his bat following the impact.
Ouch ouch ouch
