This cricketer’s wacky celebration will brighten up your Sunday
Zimbabwean cricketer Tinashe Panyangara’s reaction to bowling out Hashim Amla of South Africa was memorable, to say the least.
The opening bowler of the game will go down in Cricket World Cup folklore for his bizarre celebration against the Proteas in Hamilton.
After hitting the deck after the follow-through from his throw, a euphoric grin washed over Panyangara’s face as he looked up to see the ball smash against the wickets. He then began thrashing and wiggling around in the dirt for a good 10 seconds to commemorate his feat.
Check out the Zimbabweans’ odd little 80s breakdance-esque move below. There’s something strangely hypnotic about it.
