Aussie batsman David Warner was in stellar form Afghanistan at the Cricket World Cup on Wednesday, but one fan felt the full force of his phenomenal batting performance. One poor child got hit by a ball that Warner caught clean and hammered into the crowd for a six.
Looking at the replay, you'll notice that the youngster didn't get much help from the man sitting beside him. The unidentified man was too busy yammering away on his phone to protect the child from being struck by the speeding ball.
The man's demeanour is the complete opposite to the fan to the left of the child who gave an almighty leap to try and nail the catch.
Fortunately, the child wasn't seriously hurt and stayed to watch the remainder of the game.
