The good people of Poland have blessed us with a magnificent new sport.
We’re not sure what it’s called, we don’t quite know how it came to be, but we’re damn glad that it exists.
This new sport is essentially a hybrid of tug-of-war and rowing, and it’s simplicity is part of it’s appeal. The rules don’t seem too complicated, it’s easy to follow and, more importantly, it’s massively entertaining.
Here’s hoping “Rowboats of War” gets added to the Olympics sooner rather than later. We wouldn’t want it to fall into obscurity like Slamball, Ultimate Dodgeball and so many others that came before it.
