From “Woo!” to “Woah!” in 10 seconds
You could see this happening from a mile away.
The skier first appears in the video as a tiny spec in the background but as the barrelling snowboarder got closer and closer to the man, you knew there was only going to be one outcome.
As if the embarrassment of taking out a fellow winter sports enthusiast wasn’t terrible enough, the ordeal was worsened when the snowboarder began dragging the innocent victim down the mountain.
The duo spent less than a minute tangled together hurtling down the slope, but the intense awkwardness made the incident seem like an eternity.
The dead air between the two was only broken up by the snowboarder repeatedly asking the skier “you ok?”, and each time the half-hearted attempt at concern elicited no response.
Well, he actually did break his silence eventually.
