That’s all it took Irishman JP Montgomery to nail this frankly insane half court shot in a weird hybrid of basketball and golf.
He undertook the challenge in aid of an Irish team called Hibernia Basketball, who are looking to fundraise for their maiden season in the 2015/2016 FIBA Europe Cup.
If you’re not up on your basketball competitions, it’s basically the hard-court version of the Europa League.
They are fundraising for the various group games which will be away in Denmark, Slovenia and the Czech Republic and are hoping for lots of support.
They are also hosting a golf event in Abbeyleix (which may or may not also involved some basketballs) and there is more information available on that here
