Disaster
Shaun Murphy is beginning to be one of our favourite players at this year’s World Snooker Championship because he reminds us, of us.
Not alone do we share a similar taste in epic cutting edge fashion, ahem, but he also reminds us that snooker players are human, and they make the exact same mistakes we do down the local hall.
Take for example this evening’s action at the Crucible in the fourth frame of his clash with Barry Hawkins in the opening session of their semi final.
Hawkins had a chance to steal the frame after pouncing on a Murphy mistake, but missed the last black in the top corner pocket.
Murphy takes on the shot and manages to sneak it home…until disaster strikes
Murphy did recover and leads 6-2 heading into the morning session.
