We’re going to miss the hair.
His 15 minutes up, Dustin Brown failed to carry on the form that saw him beat Rafa Nadal earlier this week into this afternoon’s Wimbledon clash with Vicktor Troicki.
The German was outclassed by his opponent for much of the match, and despite doing his best octopus impression and the splits a few times, he slumped to a 6-4, 7-6, 4-6, 6-3.
Still at least he proved that tennis can be exciting, and not just all about power and smashing a serve past an opponent with two moments of genuine quality during the match.
Firstly he decided to use all of his lanky frame to make a spectacular diving shot that Bruce Willis in Die Hard would be proud of as he claimed a point against his opponent.

He then did something we don’t think we’ve ever seen in a tennis game before or at least in a Grand Slam.
The German hit a delicate shot with great big heaps of backspin towards the net.
So much backspin that the ball actually bounced back on his own side after the point was secured.
“Doesn’t even bother” – what was this from Dustin Brown!? Got that in your locker @OceansUnlocked? #Wimbledon2015 pic.twitter.com/Vckk2qL4yw
