Why on earth was the ball being thrown at him anyway?
Andy Murray comes across as an angry man at the best of times, but we suspect that the ball boy or ball girl who landed a tennis ball at his nether regions may want to avoid the Scot for the rest of year.
The former Wimbledon champions is in action at the Paris Masters, where he beat David Goffin 6-1, 6-0, this morning in less than an hour, but by far the highlight of the one-sided match was when in the middle of a short water break Murray had a tennis ball flung at his nether regions.
Only for a water bottle protecting his modesty, he may have incurred a rather painful injury.
It at least didn’t affect his performance as he booked his place in the quarter-finals of the event very very easily
