The fleet-footed 95-year-old entered himself into the record books by completing the 200-metre sprint in a time of 55.48 seconds, which is a world record for his age group.
The previous record was set by Orville Rogers in 2013, but Eugster shaved 2.4 seconds off the American's time.
What makes Eugster's feat so impressive is that he's a novice when it comes to athletics. The retired dentist only took up the sport at age 85, which we're pretty sure is a few years north of his prime.
Eugster, seems to be hell bent on tearing down stereotypes for people of advanced years. He commemorated his achievement by sending a tweet.
