We love a good quiz and there are lots of options on television for nerds like us.
‘Tipping Point’ is this SportsJOE’s personal favourite, while Bradley Walsh and his cohorts on The Chase is another tea-time staple.
Walsh is a brilliant host, and the questions are just at an acceptable level of tricky, but not impossible a-la Mastermind.
However, the show found itself in a spot of bother this evening, after sports fans disagreed with the answer to what appeared to be a fairly simple question about odds and winnings on a 5/2 bet.
Little blunder from @ITVChase there!😳 pic.twitter.com/CXLFmsLcUR

Now the math is correct on this, but it is the inclusion of the confusing “as well as getting your stake back” that has some sports fans, and keen gamblers, questioning the right answer and suggesting that £35 is actually the correct way to answer the question.

@NicolaMcGeady @ITVChase Badly worded, but they say 'as well as getting your stake back, what would you win' £25 is correct! #TheChase
