Devon Petersen, take a bow.
South African darts player Devon Petersen was in a typically relaxed mood prior to his clash with English 23rd seed Darren Webster in the first round of the World Darts Championship in Alexander Palace on Thursday night.
The 31-year-old Capetown native, known as the African Warrior, is held in affection in the darts world due to his relaxed demeanour and his slick dance moves.
He danced onto the stage to the tune of Shakira’s famous belter, “Waka Waka, (This time for Africa)” and he really did steal the show.
The man was enjoying himself, he soaked in the moment and made it his business to high five almost every member of the Ally Pally crowd on his entrance.

He doesn’t shy away from the spotlight, and he was lapping it up as he made his way to centre stage. He busted some slick dance moves, wowing the crowd with his simple but effective movements.
