Chris Froome is third favourite to win the men’s road race on Saturday afternoon.
But you probably shouldn’t waste your money having a flutter because he will crash early on in the 240 km race along the Brazilian coast.
Ireland’s top representative in the race is Dan Martin, who is fifth favourite, and he’s discovered that the official Rio 2016 app has already predicted how the event will play out.
Martin shared a screenshot to prove that Tour De France winner Froome will come into trouble after 46 km.

While the soothsaying app is obviously displaying some glitch or trial run of the race’s events, Froome joked that there would be no way he could replicate his run up Mont Ventoux last month.
Astonishing. Chris Froome, the leader of the Tour de France, is running up Mont Ventoux after crashing. #tdf pic.twitter.com/NLeIFzjkrH
