Would we have a problem if he did?
Piers Morgan has gotten himself into yet another row on Twitter, and this time it involves Dublin-born cricketer Eoin Morgan and God Save The Queen.
The Irishman is currently captaining his adopted country in a Twenty20 international against South Africa and broadcaster Piers has decided to kick up a fuss about Eoin refraining from joining in during the national anthems.

Of course, many were quick to point out that Morgan’s Irish origins may make him uncomfortable singing the English anthem, but Piers was quick to point to his own Irish roots, and if it’s good enough for Piers…
@piersmorgan isn't he Irish ??

So am I. But you agree to captain England, you sing the damn anthem. https://t.co/8NKNaZTgcc

We would imagine that many would agree with the above sentiment, that whether or not Morgan should sing along with his English team-mates is a matter for himself, but don’t forget how much we all fell in love with CJ Stander when when he sang his South African heart out during the anthems on his Ireland rugby debut.
