There has been a long-standing tradition of Irish cycling fans invading Alpe d’Huez and going buck mad in support of Tour de France competitors making their gruelling ascents.
Turn 10 on the steep d’Heuz climb, each year, becomes ‘Irish Corner’.
This year, with Le Tour heading into its final weekend, the Irish are out in force again.
