There is someting very genteel and dignified about the sport of snooker and the way its players always get dressed up for action at the table.
Well except that one time when Ronnie O’Sullivan played in someone else’s shoes but you know what we mean.
So we were a bit sunned today when Shaun Murphy decided that he would dress up as one of the Avengers as he played in the latest round of the World Snooker Championship.
The Englishman turned up for his session today with Joe Perry wearing possibly the worst suit we’ve seen since that multi-coloured effort we wore to our own Debs.

It took Twitter all of 0.5 seconds to make the obvious comparison:
“This is the best we’ve seen from him for years.” Very poor choice of words ▶️ http://t.co/9RAnHPi3Rp pic.twitter.com/4An2sCgrEN

@Magician147 when I say children will be inspired, I meant by your enthusiasm and not because you look like Father Christmas ? — david sobey (@duchydave) April 27, 2015

The garish garb didn’t affect him too much as he won by 13-5 to meet Anthony McGill in the q-finals
