Dimitri Van den Bergh and Jose de Sousa have made the cut for the Premier League darts line-up for the first time in their careers.
Dates for the 2021 competition are yet to be confirmed as a result of the uncertainty surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic, however the show will go on, and it will once again head for the 3 Arena in Dublin.
New World number one and world champion Gerwyn Price will top the card, the Welsh man having reached his darting destiny seven years after he first joined the tour.
“I’m world No 1, I’m world champion… I can’t wait for John to call me out in my first tournament. It’s going to be crazy! To be able to say that, I never even dreamt of it really, until this year,” he said on Sky Sports after the win.
A former professional rugby player, a wrist injury brought an end to a career that saw him play for Welsh underage teams and the Glasgow Warriors. Footage of Price scoring a try in a Welsh cup final at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff underlines the remarkable sporting journey this man has travelled.
From scoring a cup winning try at the Millennium Stadium to becoming the World Champion, and the number one ranked dart thrower in the world.
You don't have to like Gerwyn Price, but you have to respect what he's done.

Gurney isn’t the only player to be dropped from the card with former world finalist Michael ‘Bully Boy’ Smith also losing his spot.
