Aussie wicketkeeper Brad Haddin showed great improvisational skills when he almost took a bowl to the ovals against the West Indies.
Haddin managed to trap the speeding ball between his thighs before any damage could be done, to dismiss West Indies batsman Shai Hope.
He stood there momentarily, legs akimbo to ensure the ball was secure between his legs and would be officially be ruled as a catch. Short-leg fieldsman Steve Smith couldn’t wait for that and instead fished around in Haddin’s groin, before producing the ball and raising it aloft.
