Basking away, like a legend.
Bren Whelan was out for a brisk kayak around Malin Head, earlier this week, when he had a close encounter with a basking shark.
The Dublin native, who does some work along the Wild Atlantic Way, in Donegal, reacted a whole lot better than we would have - keeping it cool and getting the camera out.

Basking sharks mainly feed on plankton but we know we'd be screaming our heads off if we saw a fin zoom anywhere near us.
