VIDEO: This ice hockey hit is absolutely shattering

Our mothers were always on at us when we were young not to kick ball at the window or it would break. Well good job we never played ice-hockey at home then.

The panes of glass surrounding hockey rinks are usually made of solid stuff considering guys are regularly pelted into them at fairly high speed.

However we haven’t ever seen a smash like this with the glass going everywhere when Quad City Mallards’ Todd Fiddler ploughed into Wichita Thunder’s Theo Peckham.

Hopefully no fans were left to pick bits of glass out of their faces afterwards:
