Johnny Manziel’s first NFL game as a starting quarterback could not have gone much worse
The Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback has had a disastrous game against the Bengals tonight. His side have so far failed to get any points on the board and at the time of publishing, they are trailing 23-0.
Manziel has completed 4 of 9 passing attempts that have added up to a dismal 22 yards in total while he has only managed 3 rushing yards in as many attempts.
One of Johnny Football’s many low points in the first half included this horrendous interception.
As bad as that looks, by far the most humiliating parts of the game for Manziel were the several taunts he received from the Bengals’ defence. Cincinnnati defensive end Wallace Gilberry added insult to injury by doing Manziel’s trademark “Money” celebration directly after making a monstrous sack on the 22-year-old.
Later in the game, Rey Maualuga had the temerity to do the money sign right in Manziel’s face.
