Vine: Ice hockey star pulls out own tooth after massive hit

Of course, he played on as well

One of the great clichés in sport surrounds the toughness of ice hockey players, but here’s another example of why it’s probably right

Just another day at the office for Ryan Reaves, no doubt.

The St Louis Blues winger shipped an almighty blow during yesterday’s game against the Chicago Blackhawks, and on his return to the bench found he had a loose tooth.

So he just pulled it out and went back in the game.

Nice to see Reaves will have a career in emergency dentistry of the whole ice hockey thing doesn’t work out.
