For a brief second, it looks like he’s ok. And then he slowly falls out of consciousness.
It’s Bowl season in college football, and last night Michigan State defeated Baylor in the Cotton Bowl, but the most memorable moment of the night came when Baylor kicker Chris Callahan had his potentially game-sealing field-goal blocked, before Michigan State turned it over and eventually scored the winning touchdown.
After his kick is blocked, Callahan tries his best to chase it down and make amends, but he gets absolutely leveled by a Michigan State blocker, in one of the most brutal hits I’ve ever seen.
Callahan seems a self-aware guy, and afterwards he tweeted that he is, in fact, still alive.
That’s how you take a hit, son!
I am alive. It has been a great season. I am proud to be a Baylor Bear. #SicEm
