Vine: Blake Griffin’s buzzer-beating three-pointer was more than a little lucky

Griffin's game-winner needed some kind bounces along the way

It’s like it happened in slow motion.

With the LA Clippers down 120-118, against the Phoenix Suns with just two seconds left in overtime, they knew they needed to sink a basket to send it to another period.

But Bake Griffin was on fire with 42 points t his name, and decided that more overtime wasn’t needed, launching a shot from outside the arc, before it eventually dropped in for three points after a couple of nervous bobbles off the rim and backborad.

The silence as it hangs in the air is incredible, the roar as it drops is even better.
