We wish they mic’d up more players in other sports
The NFL went all out for the Super Bowl and mic’d up a whole host of players for the big game. Last night they showed the footage on the NFL Network and easily the best was what they got from Tom Brady.
We all knew beforehand that this game meant a lot to the quarterback and the team and, in the aftermath of the ‘deflategate’ scandal, the Patriots were taking this game very personally and very seriously.
That shines through in this clip from Brady’s pre-game speech where he reminds his team-mates about ‘HONOUR’ and ‘RESPECT’ and what a win will mean.
Stirring stuff
There is also audio of how he reacted to the game ending interception, which mainly consists of Brady emitting a high-pitched squeal.
