*Slow Clap*
LeBron James headband has been a remarkable discussion point in the last few years.
Initially, we were all fascinated by the angle of it. Just watch how the balder JeBron gets, the steeper he’d wear it on his head.
But more recently, it’s been the lack of a headband that has caused a stir in the US.
The Cavs’ star said he ditched the headband because he’s a leader, and didn’t want to wear anything different from his teammates, but the problem is that as Thomas Edison said, genius is one percent inspiration, and 99 percent perspiration.
And without the headband, how on earth was LeBron expected to absorb all that perspiration?
So eventually, the headband made a return, and in in some style, as the Cavs tied their Eastern Conference semi-final against the Bulls at 1-1 last night, with LeBron hitting 33 points in the 106-91 win.
The return of the headband was so important that the team made their own mini 30 for 30 documentary about the its comeback.
It’s a beautiful, moving, inspirational tale. I’m not crying, I swear. I just have something in both of my eyes.
