Doing the Ronaldo.
Once upon a time that meant doing loads of stepovers to flummox a defender
Nowadays of course it refers to this celebration by the winger anytime he hits the back of the net,

It’s pretty famous, you know, and he even brought the weird screamy bit to this year’s Ballon d’Or awards.
So what better American footballer to bring the celebration across the Atlantic than the man who is known to everyone except his parents as Johnny Football.
Johnny Manziel, (as he was baptised) was having a mixed night for the Cleveland Browns in their clash with the Bengals on Thursday, until the end of the first half when he came alive and helped his side score with a 92-yard touchdown drive.
It was impressive stuff from the golden boy of NFL, who capped the move with a 12-yard pass to Duke Johnson for the score.
Escapes the pocket, goes on the run and finds Duke Johnson PERFECTLY in stride.
Call him Johnny Touchdown. #CLEvsCIN https://t.co/mYavr77h4O— NFL (@NFL) November 6, 2015
We don’t know if Ronaldo watches much NFL, but if he does he can’t help but be impressed by Manziel’s enthusiastic recreation of his famous twirl and pose for the cameras.
How did Johnny Manziel celebrate his first TD of the night?
By doing the @Cristiano celebration. #CLEvsCIN https://t.co/aOaxtHVVUq— NFL (@NFL) November 6, 2015
