Hang on a second. Isn’t this supposed to be the other way about?
NBA’s biggest and best, LeBron James, was as shocked as the rest of us this morning when young Utah Jazz hero, Gordon Hayward, produced not one, not two, but three game-changing moments to condemn the Cavaliers to their third defeat of the season.
Hayward dished out a bit of the James punishment when he chased the returning Cleveland forward back to the baseline and crashed LeBron’s lay-up mercilessly off the backboard with a last-ditch block before travelling to the other end to put one away himself.

If that wasn’t enough for Hayward, the Utah shooting guard then waited until the dying seconds – actually, he waited until there were none left – and beat the buzzer with a superb jump shot to prevent overtime and see Jazz win 102 – 100.
It was that kind of night for Hayward, he would’ve had every right to turn to LeBron and ask, “How do you like them apples?”
