Remember that kid you were in school with who was unreal at every sport?
JJ Watt was that kid.
The Houston Texans offensive tackle has become a real cult hero in the last couple of years, and now this previously unseen footage of him as a high school player has emerged showing that he was quite the specimen, even as a teenager.
Watt played on both offence and defence back then, and this video shows that he was probably better on offence in his school days.
The teenage Watt did cause quarterbacks plenty of trouble, but at 6 foot 6 and around 230 pounds, Watt was a bit of a beast under the high ball.
He’d do a job on the edge of the square, I reckon.
