VIDEO: Fox Sports presenter lashes employer’s sexist article on how to snag a golf husband

Idiots

Kevin McGillicuddy

Never ever ever did we think we’d agree with something on Fox.

It can’t be easy to disagree with your employer. Especially not when they’re a massive TV station. And to disagree with them live on air takes some serious cahones.

So we’re doffing our cap this evening to Katie Nolan who landed one right in the face of her bosses for a sexist and offensive blog post on the Fox Sports website called ‘How to Land a Husband at the Masters’

Nolan hosts her own TV show on the station called Garbage Time, and used her time in front of camera to sarcastically applaud the efforts of the writer Rebecca Johnson, who advised her readers attending the tournament:

‘You’re looking for your husband, not a one night stand.’

Nolan jokes that the article will be a big help to women who struggle to enjoy sport but can now do so in a more feminine way:

‘Gee, how can I enjoy a major sporting event in a more woman-y way.’

Nolan has previous in calling out sexism in sport-famously expressing her anger at the blind eye turned to various reports NFL domestic violence and the role that TV sport plays in covering up unsavory incidents.
