The Kansas State Marching Band proudly unveiled their Star Trek-themed half-time show during last night’s college football opener against South Dakota, the highlight of which saw band members portraying the Starship Enterprise taking down the Jayhawk mascot of hated rivals Kansas.
Well, that’s what they said it was, although everybody else saw something rather different…

Kansas State later apologised for causing any offence, but they were still sticking to their Star Trek story.
