Dad of the Year.
It was Mothers Day in the States yesterday, and this Phillies fan has probably set an unreasonable standard for future years, after this once in a million moment.
Mike Capko brought his wife and seven month old son to the ballpark for the family’s first Mothers Day celebration, and it’s one they’ll probably remember forever.
Sitting behind home plate, with his son Kolton strapped to his chest, Mike found a foul ball flying in their direction.
With no time to think, he threw up his left hand (he’s a righty, just to make it more impressive), and perfectly snagged the ball from the sky as if it was the easiest thing he’s ever done in his life.
You’d think the baby would be a bit more impressed though.
